The idea
I wanted something tangible to come out of the reading and observation I was doing: a small object someone could use to make a record of their own experience.
The published project is called La Luna en Mí. You may also know it as La Luna and Me.
Why it exists
The project grew from my interest in the distance between the schedules people are expected to keep and the patterns they notice in their own bodies. I wanted a place to write those observations down in the person’s own hands.
What I built
An eight-panel field book made from a single folded sheet of paper, paired with a longer essay describing the research and personal observation behind it. The field book uses the moon as a visual reference for keeping a record.
It is a paper observation tool, not a diagnostic instrument or a way to predict ovulation or prevent pregnancy.
Where it stands
Complete. The field book and essay reached the form I intended for this project. They remain part of the record, available to explore without turning completion into disappearance.
The original essay retains the published title and link to the field book. Existing purchasers can continue using their original download page.
